Eyelid Aesthetics (Blepharoplasty)
In the upper eyelid, in the fold area, the excess skin is removed with the help of incisions made just below the eyelashes on the lower eyelid, and the eyelids are restored to their old form. The operation takes about two hours under general anesthesia.
In the early postoperative period, there may be edema and bruising around the eyes, burning and dryness in the eyes; but these effects disappear within a week. In this process, special eye drops and eye gels will make the postoperative period more comfortable. Contact lenses can only be worn after a week.
Five days after the operation, the aesthetic stitches on the upper eyelid are removed and your final control is completed. Since self-melting thread is used on the lower eyelid and it is an internal process, stitches do not need to be removed. You can return to social life immediately.
