a. Treatment of a Single (Missing) Tooth with an Implant

The occurrence of tooth loss significantly affects the aesthetics and chewing structure of the tooth. Even if the gaps in invisible areas are ignored by many patients, they will create some problems in the long term. Over time, in many cases, adjacent teeth slowly bend toward the extension of the opposite jaw and / or the antagonist tooth. These effects over time cause changes in chewing movements and as a result, jaw joint problems occur. It is a more rational solution to prevent these problems by replacing the lost tooth with a dental implant in time. With conventional treatment, neighboring teeth are cut and reduced in order to fix a bridge over them, and the life of the teeth is shortened. With implantology treatment, missing teeth can be made without damaging neighboring teeth.

The treatment period depends on the individual situation (depending on your bone structure/quality); It can range from a one-stage procedure with immediate implant placement (immediate) to several-stage restoration including periods of healing. b. Treatment with an Implant Bridge in Multiple Tooth Loss

c. All On Four Implant Treatment

With the All On Four implant technique, it is a procedure that allows the dental prosthesis to be fixed on the same day on four dental implants placed at certain angles in completely edentulous patients.

All-on-4 treatment takes a short time and it is possible to have a healthy appearance quickly. The biggest advantage is that it is more economical than the traditional implant method for patients who are completely toothless or who are likely to be completely toothless. Angled implants take support from the region with better bone quality and prevent damage to anatomical structures. All-on-4 treatment is a long-term proven treatment with follow-up up to 10 years in the lower jaw and up to 5 years in the upper jaw.

d.Sinus Lifting Operation

The maxillary sinuses are behind your cheeks and above your upper teeth. Sinuses are like empty rooms with nothing inside. Some of the roots of the natural upper teeth extend to the upper jaw sinuses. When these upper teeth are removed, there is usually a thin wall of bone separating the maxillary sinus and mouth. Dental implants need bone to stay in place. When the sinus wall is too thin, it is impossible to place an implant in this bone.

Sinus graft or sinus lift operation is applied to solve this. The dental implant surgeon enters the sinus where the upper teeth are. The sinus membrane is then lifted up and the donor bone is placed at the sinus floor. Note that the sinus floor is the roof of the upper jaw. After several months of healing, the bone becomes part of the patient’s jaw, and dental implants can be placed and stabilized in this new sinus bone.
