Sapphire FUE Hair Transplantation
During hair transplantation, a cutting tool called slit is used while the canal is opened. However, since tissue damage is high in transplantation with these steel slits, the healing times are longer. With sapphire tipped pens, it is possible to make a dense and natural planting due to the fact that dense channels can be opened at the micro level. Since the channels are opened at a micro level, there is a much faster healing process compared to other hair transplantation techniques. After transplantation, crusting is minimal and this result increases comfort of the patient.
Sapphire Fue hair transplantation varies according to the number of grafts taken in approximately 6 – 8 hours.
Advantages of FUE Hair Transplantation with Sapphire Tip over Metal Slite:
By helping the grafts to be planted more densely, it enables a more natural appearance with hair density.
What are the Differences Between FUE and DHI Methods in Hair Transplantation?
1. The main difference between the FUE technique and the DHI method is the difference in application methods.
2. 3000-7000 grafts can be transplanted in a single session in the FUE technique, and 4000 grafts in a single session in the DHI technique.
3. In the DHI technique, the hair follicles are transplanted within 1-2 minutes after they are taken from the donor area, so it is not possible to wait outside the body. This minimizes the possibility of damage to the hair follicles.
4. Recovery in the DHI technique is faster and the recovery time is shorter than the FUE technique, and there is almost no bleeding.
5. The FUE technique is ideal for planting in a larger area and DHI is the ideal method for planting more densely.
6. In the DHI technique, 100 follicles can be transplanted in 1 square centimeter area, while 60 roots can be planted in the FUE technique.
7. In the DHI technique, it is possible to transplant between the hair more easily in the areas where the hair is not completely shed, but this cannot be done in FUE.
8. While shaving the hair is neccessary in the FUE technique, it is sufficient to shorten the hair in the donor area with the appropriate model in the DHI technique.
9. The cost of the equipment used in the DHI method is more expensive and the team performing this method is more crowded; therefore the total cost is a little higher. FUE method on the other hand, can be realized at a more affordable cost.
10. While the FUE technique takes 6-8 hours, the DHI method requires a little longer.
