You will stay in the hospital for a total of 3 days for this operation.

As with all surgeries, it is important to perform the operation in a general hospital for complications that may occur after gastric sleeve.

You can take a shower after the surgery.

Since Sleeve Gastrectomy is a closed surgery, pain is felt less than other types of surgery.

Compression socks must be worn while driving. After surgery, you should not get on the plane without your doctor’s approval.

Walking: After surgery, brisk walks are recommended.

Swimming: Not recommended for at least 2 months after surgery.

Fitness: Sports that do not stretch the abdominal area are not harmful. However, fitness is not recommended for at least 2 months after surgery.

Football, Volleyball, etc. .: You must wait at least 3 months.

Sleeping on your back is recommended for the first 1 month period after surgery. There is no problem sleeping on your stomach after that period.

If the result is between 20-25, it is normal.

Between 25-30 overweight.

Between 30-35 obese.

Between 35-40, advanced obesity.
